Who can attend Sunset on the Beach?
Everyone is invited to attend Sunset on the Beach. We welcome Hawaii residents, tourists, and seabirds alike!
How much does it cost to attend?
Sunset on the Beach is a free community event! While there is no entrance fee, we will have concession items available to purchase.
Will food and drinks be available? Can I bring my own?
Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from local concession vendors; however, if you’d like to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages, you’re welcome to! No alcohol will be served or allowed at this family-friendly event. Mahalo!
Are pets allowed?
While we love your pets, this event is not pet-friendly.
Where can I park?
Parking is available in the Waikīkī Shell Lots, street parking on Kalakaua Ave., and at the Honolulu Zoo. Please note that not all parking options are free. If you live close by, we encourage a nice walk to the beach!
Is this event wheelchair accessible?
Yes! Accessible pathways and sidewalks will be available to reach the beach, activities, and restrooms, sand-free.
Can I bring my own chairs to the event?
We actually encourage it! Limited seating will be available, so please feel free to bring a beach towel, chairs, or hammock. All we ask is that you’re mindful of everyone’s ability to view the movie.
Who is eligible to enter the sweepstakes?
Only Hawaii residents, including Hawaii residents on neighboring islands, are eligible to enter (and win!) the Sunset on the Beach sweepstakes.
What is included in the sweepstakes prize?
Every sweepstakes winner will receive a round trip flight for you and a friend on Southwest Airlines® and a two-nights at Kaimana Beach Hotel to attend Sunset on the Beach with A-List seats.
