Southwest Airlines® is partnering with the Waikiki Improvement Association and the City & County of Honolulu to bring back this beloved series of free, family-friendly movie nights at Queen’s Beach! Join us for music, games, prizes, and more.

Seating is first come, first served!

Sunset on the Beach is open to the public, and all seating is first come, first served! Guests are encouraged to bring their own seating and blankets, as chairs are not provided. Mahalo!

How much does it cost to attend?

Sunset on the Beach is a free community event! While there is no entrance fee, we will have concession items available to purchase.

Can I bring my own chairs to the event?

We encourage it! Seating is first come, first served, so please feel free to bring a beach towel, chair, or hammock. All we ask is that you’re mindful of everyone’s ability to view the movie.

Will food and drinks be available? Can I bring my own?

Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from local concession vendors; however, if you’d like to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages, you’re welcome to! No alcohol will be served or allowed at this family-friendly event. Mahalo!

Where can I park?

Parking is available in the Waikiki Shell Lots, street parking on Kalakaua Ave., and at the Honolulu Zoo. Please note that not all parking options are free. If you live close by, we encourage a nice walk to the beach!

Is this event wheelchair accessible?

Yes! Accessible pathways and sidewalks will be available to reach the beach, activities, and restrooms, sand-free.
